The Christmas Market : Gingerbread and delicacies
Located on Port Hercule, the Christmas market will be held from December 6, 2024 to January 5, 2025. With decorated stands, local specialties and themed entertainment, it will delight young and old alike. This year’s theme puts gingerbread in the spotlight, with culinary creations and aromas that will fill the air. The Ferris Wheel, the rides, and a temporary amusement park with activities such as the luge and the carousel, will offer unforgettable moments. On the gourmet side, around twenty stands will invite you to explore festive flavors, from mulled wine to Monegasque specialties.
Activities for children and families
Creative workshops for children, interactive shows such as “L’école des lutins” and fun activities are offered, offering a total immersion in the Christmas spirit. Daily parades, such as “Casse-Noisette” or “Les Lutins de Noël”, will liven up the streets. The new Sports Village will allow the more adventurous to try their hand at activities such as tree climbing and zip lining. Christmas concerts will liven up Friday evenings with various groups.
The light show in Monte Carlo
The Place du Casino is transformed this December 2024 into an enchanting setting with a magnificent illumination show on the majestic facade of the Casino de Monte-Carlo, an 18m fir tree, and giant snow globes representing the different Christmas scenes with luminous elves. These lighting events are accompanied by musical entertainment, offering a festive and sophisticated atmosphere to the Principality. You will also be able to find the famous Christmas Carousel and its Chalet at the Jardin des Boulingrins. Choirs, musical shows and concerts will be organized outdoors throughout the Principality of Monaco on December 21, 22, 24 and 25 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
